Books VS Movies

Would you rather read a scary book or watch a scary movie? MOVIE! Some people think that the book The Shining is better than the movie.. I think not. The movie is so thrilling, the book just is... meh. I'd prefer the movie because it shows the girls, it shows the butler, it shows the crazy man. The book just describes them.
Yes, books do scary you when you're in bed at night relaxing reading a good scary book, but it takes days to read a good sized novel, 2 hours for a good movie. Do you really have time to read that whole book and remember it all? No, I didn't think so either. Everyone likes a good book, even if it's not scary. A good book always is great when you have a day off and it's cold and raining or snowing, it's wonderful to sit in front of the window with a good book. Time flies, but a movie will keep you and everyone else that's with you busy and you all have a good time.
With a book you feel like you are smart right? WELL WE DON'T LIKE SMART PEOPLE! GET OUT! lol, just kidding but no.. get out with you're stupid book. Watch a movie! Fry your brain cells! It's fun(;
So in the end, movies are better because you just laugh and have a good time with family. So, pop some popcorn and go to the video store and get a good thriller!

Best Actor/Actress

I think Johnny Depp is the best actor in horror films. He's great in them because he can portray anyone or anything. He was Sweeney Todd, which just seems like a hard role to play, I mean come on, you have to be friendly to people you hate and then in the end, kill them. MWAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA! GENIUS I TELL YOU! but anyway, Johnny was also in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). Another great one is Edward Scissor Hands. He just is great at playing dark creepy people!
Tobin Bell was also great because of his Saw movies. He was just great at everything in those movies, his creepy dieing voice, he scary look, the doll that represents him! It's all great. He made thriller movies what they are I think. He brought them to life. I mean come on people, he just wanted to play a game, but the Saw movies weren't the only good films he was in, there was the Boogeyman which still doesn't compare to the Saw movies but, ehh.

They are the stars of horror movies I think.

Are horror movies dying to comedy?

Horror will never die to comedy! First of all, there are so many more horror films lately than comedy. Horror makes you tense up and get into it, comedy, haha meh. Horror will always be better! Well in my opinion anyway, which is the only one that matters right? Exactly. Comedy is always going to be good, but horror will always just be better. Scary movies get your heart to race and you to jump out of your seat.
In all honesty, comedy and horror are coming together right now, Scary Movie is a very good example. The scary movies are based off of actual scary movies. (see what they did there... hahaha) I think that if they keep coming together to make everything better for both sides, especially for comedy. They are great combinations, but still... horror movies all the way!

True Stories? Yeah, okay...

The Shining, The Exorcist, The Conjuring, blah blah blah, they're all supposed to be based off of true stories. The Shining is very true, it's been on Ghost Adventures! lol, just kidding. Yes, some of the movies are based off of true stories, but come on. Paranormal Activity is so not true. You can tell it's staged and just doesn't even seem real. Yeah, commercials for the movies show people screaming, I've seen them all in theater's. Yeah some people screamed. Others were like, what is wrong with you dumb ass's!
The exorcist seems to be true but there is no proof of it. Of course, anything paranormal has no proof. Oh well I guess. Some stories get so much fame and things that, the truth about it was lost.
