Goosebumps from home or theater?

It is more scary to go to the movies I think. I would much rather go to the movies to see a horror movie. I mean come on, at home you're all comfy and feel safe. You aren't gonna get scared at home. You're like, ptsh get out of here Godzilla! At the theater you're like, AHHHHHHH! run little people!
Go to the movies next time a "true story" paranormal movie comes out, you'll get scared most likely unless you're like me of course. I rarely ever get scared. I never really cry at sad movies either. I'm told I'm heartless. Mehh, whatever lol.
At movies you get goosebumps and the chills. You get all tense when things start to get serious. At home you're like mehh, I want ice cream and popcorn, should I go pee? At the movies you're sitting there holding it so you can finish the movie because of the intensity. Also when you go to the movies that means it just came out, people didn't ruin it for you. If you rent it, most likely someone recommended it to you and told you the good parts, so you're not really surprised.
Pretty much I'm saying, go to the movies, it just makes the movie better. At home you won't really get into it as much as you will at the movies.

  1. I think I'm actually more scared when I watch it at home! I have an easier time "keeping the movie at the movie theater" (watching it & walking away knowing it isn't "following" me home) than I do separating watching a movie like The Exorcism of Emily Rose or the first Paranormal movie since they both take place inside homes JUST LIKE MY HOME AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I liked the personal touch to your post! It's nice to "see the author" and not emotionless facts being spewed at me. I think that if you're at home and thinking about ice cream or bathroom breaks, the movie is probably not that interesting/scary/whatever to you anyway, whether you're at home or a theater. At least, that's how I think it applies to myself. Sidenote: Why do you spend time thinking about (2 entire sentences!) going pee vs. holding it? You're so weird.

    Good first post :) 10/10
